Suvali Beach Festival 2024 :

Surat District Administration are co-organizing a two-day beach festival at Suvali beach, near Surat, from February 24th to 25th.

A two-day beach festival will start at Suvali Beach on Saturday 24/02/2024 in which hundreds of individuals from the city and south Gujarat region will participate.
Suvali Beach, with its rich maritime history, has been a popular picnic spot for Surtis. It remained underdeveloped for a long time. Recently, the government launched various development projects with the sanctioning of a Rs 48 crore grant.

Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA) will spend Rs 10 crore for development work at the beach.
“To promote tourism at Suvali, the beach festival has been organized. It will also create employment opportunities for the locals,” Minister of state for Home Harsh Sanghavi told media persons.
The festival that will be inaugurated on Saturday will include craft stalls, food courts, photo corners, and beach games as major attractions. Adventure sports activities will also be held during the event besides kite flying, a performance by folk singer Kirtidan Gadhvi on Saturday night.

Suvali Beach Carnival 2024 Activity :

This Carnival offers features food, adventure, water sports areas, and craft booths. Additionally, a particular activity space has been built for the children.
Every day, cultural programs and other relaxation activities are planned to keep the group entertained. The Suvali Beach Festival has also given residents of Suvali and other neighboring villages some job opportunities.

Nice beach atleast for SuratIt is a small beach in Hazira & one of the hot destination for people of Surat. It is a kind of long drive as it is 25-30 KM from the city center. The beach is much better than Dumas which is soiled now. One can get some evening snacks to enjoy with family at the beach. Also there are horse riding, beach bike, etc for fun. There were also many facilities of photo shoot which would be chargeable. But the problem is sometimes you can't able to see water..But beware this is a risky place as it has witnessed many deaths due to drowning. So be utmost attentive not to go deep in the sea even when there's a low tide. BEWARE

It's a beautiful beach around 20 kms from Surat. People come here with their families to enjoy.You can buy some snacks, water, tea, wafers, maggi, soft drinks etc. Proper restaurants are not there for lunch or dinner.You can enjoy camel rides, bike rides and some other activities for. Kids.But, one must keep in mind to remain in limits when enjoying in the ocean, in the past there have been big incidents where people were drowned in the sea.Also Police will vacate the place immediately after Sunset, so make plans accordingly.Overall a fun place if you love the waters.

Although this beach is much farther from Surat than Dumas Beach, it is still preferable to that one. However, food is scarce in Suvali Beach, and even diving in the sea there poses a risk.
