1. Nakki lake – Mount Abu, Rajasthan

A monarch once gave the edict that whomever excavated a lake with his nails over the course of the night would wed his daughter. Rakshiya Balam finished the job and used his nails to dig the lake since he admired the king’s daughter. Nakh, which meaning nails, is the origin of the name Nakki Lake.

3. Dilwara Temples, Mount Abu
